Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously served in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013.
