Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4, 1954. O'Hara has been awarded numerous distinctions including a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She was named as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara made her debut as an actress in 1974 as in The Second City, an improv comedy group located in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won the Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert.
